He was predeceased by: his parents, David Hunstiger and Theresa Hunstiger; and his son Trevin Hunstiger. He is survived by: his children, Shawn Hunstiger (Kayla) of Sauk Centre, Rachelle Beste (Pat) and Ashley Burns (Tyler) of Fergus Falls; his grandchildren, Bristol, Carter Hunstiger, Jayse, Paxton, Ellis Beste and Maverick Burns; and his siblings, Deb Garding, Chuck Hunstiger, Jon Hunstiger (Kris), Mike Hunstiger (Karen), Jenny Schnobrich (Toby), Steve Hunstiger (Portia), Jeff Hunstiger (Sara), Eric Hunstiger and Becky Larson (Jay).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Holy Family School in Sauk Centre.
