Debra Herke Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debra Herke of Sauk Centre, Minnesota, born in Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on October 26, 2022, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her grandparents, George, Rose Kortuem (Mertensotto) and Dorthea Wandersee (Erlandson); her granddaughter June Herke (Karels); and her nephew Nathan Williams.

She is survived by : her parent Beverly Kortuem (Wandersee) of Sauk Centre; her husband Larry J. Herke of Sauk Centre; her sons, Jon Herke (Meagan) of Minneapolis, Joe Herke (Laura Karels) of Mankato and Justin Herke (Anna) of Sauk Centre; her granddaughter Maisie Herke; her father Charles "Chuck" Kortuem; and her siblings, Ed Kortuem (Marnie) of Mankato and Cindy Romnes (Steve) of Mankato.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
