She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Toenies and Katherine Toenies (Bueckers); her granddaughter Jasmin Kostreba; and her siblings, Alphonse, Jerome Toenies, Pauline Schmiesing, Celine Zabinski, Bernadette Fairchild, Jean Toenies and John Toenies.
She is survived by: her husband Bernard Deters of Sauk Centre; her children, Greg Deters (Sharon) of Sauk Centre, Jeff Deters (Karen) of Sauk Centre, Susan Marthaler (Dan) of Sauk Centre, Judy Kostreba (Jim) of Sauk Centre, Janet Kerfeld (Chris) of Sauk Centre, Pat Deters of Sauk Centre, Teresa Burlet (Andrew) of Sauk Centre and Kathy Marthaler (Howard) of Sauk Centre; and her siblings, Sister Colette Toenies, S. F. of Little Falls, Donald Toenies (Virginia) of Sauk Centre, Ralph Toenies (Sharon) of Mora, Harvey Toenies (Betty) of Mora and David Toenies (Shirley) of Mesa, Arizona.. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 9:10 AM at the Saint Alexius Catholic Church (11 Oak St, West Union, MN 56389). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
