He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Weirens and Ann Weirens (Theis); his wife Esther Weirens of John's Catholic Church; and his siblings, Robert, Melvin, Al, Richard, Joe Weirens and Helen Haider.
He is survived by: his children, Joan Dehn (Steve) of Dent, Dan Weirens (Annette) of St. Cloud and Duane Weirens of Sauk Centre; and his sisters-in-law, Agnes Weirens, Florence Weirens, Alice Klaphake and Irene Leukam. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
