She was predeceased by : her parents, Carl Walz and Gertrude Walz (Woeste); her husband Henry W. Evens; her stepmother Ann Walz; her siblings, Ervin, Norbert, Virgil Walz, Eleanor Schwieters, Donna Spaeth and Veronica Ebensteiner; and her siblings-in-law, Norbert Schwieters, LeRoy Spaeth, Jack Ebensteiner, Kathleen Walz, Ione Walz and Erma Walz.
She is survived by : her children, Carol Lahr (Larry), Susan Imdieke and Duane Evens (Carol); her grandchildren, Kevin Lahr (Janet), Amy Brandt (Jared), Aaron Lahr (Lisa), Ryan Lahr, Casey Imdieke (Lisa), Gretchen Imdieke (James Klicpera), Brian Imdieke (Jennessa), Jason Evens (Sandy Borstad), Sara Miller (Eric) and Lucas Evens (Zabrina); and her brother Melvin Walz (Arlene). She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Holy Family School in Sauk Centre.
