He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Kortan and Loretta Kortan (Vogel); and his sisters, Karen Moening and Bernice Uhlenkamp. He is survived by : his wife Theresa Kortan of Melrose; his son Dean Gould (Becky) of Milaca; his grandchildren, Deanna and Jesse Gould; his great grandchild James Gould; and his sisters, Darlene Dols (John) of Sauk Centre, Jeanette Loehr (Joseph) of Melrose and Julie.
