He is survived by: his wife Peggy Angell of Sauk Centre; his children, Peter Angell, Jr. of St. Cloud, Sherry Jensen (Paul) of Avon, Deborah Angell of Rogers, Denise Severson (Brian Beam) of St. Michael and Jason Angell of Waite Park; and his grandchildren, Joshua Angell, Sydney Jensen, Elin Severson and Allie Severson.
