She was predeceased by : her parents, Eugene Birchler and Florence Birchler (Brock); her husband Dennis; her siblings, Bob Birchler, John Birchler and Peg Sjolander; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Birchler (Bob), Betty Birchler (Jim) and Kathie Birchler (John).

She is survived by : her children, Eric and Amy (Dick); her siblings, Jim Birchler, Patti Wise (Greg), Joan Holman (Roger) and Jane Kraemer (Ron); and her granddaughters, Hannah and Sophie.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the Dennis and Anne Fields Scholarship in Information Media at St. Cloud State University.
