She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Lucken and Bertha Lucken (Willenbring); her husband Raymond Knettel; and her siblings, Lloyd, Leo, John Lucken and Joanne Bauer.

She is survived by : her children, Kurt Knettel (Nancy) of Melissa, TX, Kay Czarnetzki (Steve Garden) of Becker, Mary Thomalla (Joseph) of St. Stephen, Jim Knettel of Tacoma, WA, Karla Wolter (Raymond) of Litchfield and Kristen Wasko (Michael) of Lindstrom; and her siblings, Al Lucken (Florence) of St. Cloud, Louise "Ted" Schwinghammer of St. Cloud, Bertha "Dickie" Stodla (Michael) of Minnetonka, Jane Nebsitt of Bloomington and Valerie Taylor of St. Paul. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Annunciation Catholic Church (9965 Mayhew Lake Rd NE, Sauk Rapids, MN 56379). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
