He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Cekalla (Broda) and Raymond Cekalla; his siblings, Lloyd and Betty Jean Maurer; his sisters-in-law, Bernie, Sandy and Nancy; Darene.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his son Steve (Sue Moore) of Rice; and his siblings, Marvin of Little Falls, Arnie (Alice) of Hinkley, LeRoy (Hettianne) of Clearwater, Dennis of Royalton, Ron (Jayne) of Little Falls and Suzanne of Bowlus. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials will be directed to Bend in the River Park.
