He was predeceased by : his parents, Edwin Sr. Proell and Clara Proell (Harmeling); his siblings, John, Robert, Eugene and Barb Moffitt; his sister-in-law Long Proell; and his niece Anita Steffen.
He is survived by : his son Sam Proell of Sauk Centre; his siblings, James Proell of Sauk Centre, Mike Proell of Lacy, Washington and Carolyn Steffen (Larry) of Long Prairie; and his brother-in-law Jerry Moffitt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
