She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sherman and Ada Sherman (Chapin); her husband Richard Smunk; her daughter Sandy Smunk; her granddaughter Gina Bukowski; her great grandchild Bryce Bukowski; and her siblings, Lloyd Sherman (Nelli), Raymond Sherman (Delores), Harold Sherman (Helen), Grace Turbak (Melvin), Robert Sherman (Mary Ann), Ruth Winter (Ralph) and Janice Bren (Coye).
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Bukowski (Ken) of Sauk Rapids, Deb Bollig (Jed) of Sauk Rapids, Randy Smunk (Mary) and David Smunk of Sauk Rapids; her grandchildren, Nicole, Lance, Jill, Jeff, Mallory, Cassie, Dan and Megan; her great grandchildren, Cailyn, Abby, Reese, Ben, Brielle, Owen, Olivia, Madison, Shayne, Inella, Forrest, Holden, Elsie and Arlo; her great great grandchildren, Everly, Florence, Daisy and John; and her sister Carolyn Howard (Marty Allen) of Danville, CA..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Homes-Sauk Rapids (324 2nd Ave S, Sauk Rapids, MN 56379). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, February 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
