He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Shelander and Carole Shelander (Ojala); and his niece Anna. He is survived by: his wife Ann Shelander (Zeller) of Watertown; his children, Kelsey Ragan (Taner) of St. Cloud and Nathan Shelander (Kendra) of St. Cloud; his grandchildren, Parker, Peyton and Odin; his siblings, Dan Shelander (Jana) of North Carolina and Cari Cable (Stuart) of North Carolina; and his caregiver Courtney.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Homes-Sauk Rapids (324 2nd Ave S, Sauk Rapids, MN 56379). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the CMT Research Foundation.
