She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Christensen and Anna Christensen (Simpson); her husband Maynard Schaapveld; and her siblings, Jeanne Parent and Kenneth.
She is survived by: her children, Joan Wojciak of Monticello, Jayne Lange (Jerry) of Clear Lake, Jay Schaapveld (Cathy) of Ramsey and Jon Schaapveld (Jill) of Sartell; and her brother Jim Christensen of La Belle, FL.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
