It is with sadness that the passing of Valery Behrendt of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota is shared. Valery, born on February 10, 1939, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Behrendt and Sophie Behrendt (Schreiber); his wife Karen; and his daughter Beth Behrendt. He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Studenski (Randy) and Susan Bursey (Rodney) of Perham; his granddaughters, Nikki Eggert (Jason) and Jenna Lunser (Ryan); and his great grandchildren, Logan, Luke and Levi.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (6855 Golden Spike Rd NE, Sauk Rapids, MN 56379). A burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM.
