He is survived by: his grandchildren, Taylor, Briggs, Maddie (Schertler), Zack, Julia (Peterson), Truman, Audrey and Graham (Jakway); his great grandchildren, Skylar, Noah and Zack Jr.; his wife Linda Oberg; his children, Kelly (Peterson), Wayne Schertler, Kent, Sheri Peterson, Kimberly (Peterson) and Doug Jakway; and his brother Rodney Peterson.
