It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane M. Soukkala of Sawyer, Minnesota, born in Bemidji, Minnesota, who passed away on April 23, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Spangler and Pauline Spangler (Steele); her daughter Melanie; and her siblings, Tom, Bob, Joanne and Pat.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald; her children, Michael Lundquist (Andrea), Tony Soukkala (Christine) and Laurie Feiner; her brother Jerry Spangler; and her pet Bella. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the Sawyer Cemetery in Sawyer, MN.
