He was predeceased by: his son Brian Wenisch; his brother Kenneth Wenisch (Kathleen); his brother-in-law Lee Birdsong; and his parents, Theodore Wenisch and Loretta Wenisch (Turbes).
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Wenisch; his children, Greg Wenisch (Jill), Annette Asmus (Steve), Mark Wenisch, Cheryl Lange (Craig), Jason Wenisch (Jen), Jadd Wenisch (Alecia) and Susan Roesler (Dan); his grandchildren, Kayla, Travis, Todd, Nick, Alanna, Brady, Jenessa, Jenna, Katelyn, Kyden, Devin, Carson, Nora, Danielle, John and Ashton; and his siblings, Lois Birdsong, Gerald Wenisch (Georgann), Lynn Wenisch (Bev) and Jean Domeier (Dale). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (18241 1st Ave, New Ulm, MN 56073). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
