He was predeceased by: his father Stephen Edmund Engels. He is survived by: his son Alex; his mother Lili Theresa; his siblings, Bridget George (Ed), Luke, John (Christine), Clare Miller (John), Nicholas (Melanie), Andrew (Amanda), Paul (Kelli) and Elizabeth Morice (Nolan); and his former wife Olga. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (1 Lourdes Pl, Minneapolis, MN 55414). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes (1 Lourdes Pl, Minneapolis, MN 55414). A burial will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Church (25267 Redwing Ave, Shafer, MN 55074). A reception will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Midcity Gardens (2412 W Valentine Ave, St Paul, MN 55108).
