She was predeceased by: her parents, Benedict Smith and Wilhelmina Smith (Cupps); her husband Thomas Gendreau; her children, Thomas Michael (Tari) and Annie Olmstead; her son-in-law Luther Kranz; her grandchildren, Sharon Ekblad and Will Kranz; her great grandchild Evan Klassen; and her siblings, Genevieve, Dorothy, Deloris, Patricia, Benedict, Sylvia, Karen and Eugene.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Ekblad (David), Laura Kranz and Mary Rausch (Craig); and her siblings, Marilyn, Kathleen, Don (Lolly) and Stephanie. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
