She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Kaley and Loretta Kaley (Breimhorst); her husband Wayne Mertens; and her sister Briese. She is survived by : her children, Mark (Kim), Troy (Sue) and Melissa Riley (Tim); her grandchildren, Joshua, Heather, Jacob, John Travalent IV and Alyse; and her siblings, Rose Hagler (Bob), Elaine Shehan, Chuck Kaley (Mona) and Jim Kaley (Fina).
