We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2019, at the age of 92, Darleen Betty Schesso (Shakopee, Minnesota), born in Lake Benton, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Kopitzke and Elsie Kopitzke (Schmidt); her husband Norman Schesso; her son David; and her siblings, Mavis Arndt, LaVerna Schwingler and Ken Kopitzke.

She is survived by: her daughter Diane Quast (Mike); her daughter-in-law Linda; her grandchildren, Robert (Mikki), Paul and Megan Psyk (Dave); her great grandchildren, Anthony, Zachary, Jake, Hayden and Ella; and her siblings, Yvonne Crandall, Orinne Jones, Carol Gregory and Linda Drayton.

“I am Kouider Barhmi from Morocco. I had Schesso family as a host family in 1978 when I was studying at the University of Minnesota. I comeback to Morocco in 1980. Mom (Darleen Schesso) came to visit me in 1983 with her friend Irene. We have been exchanging letters from 1980 to October 2019. I did talk to her on the telephone a month ago. Mom was a very good and enjoyable person. I can’t forget what she did for me and to all my friends I did take to her house on 927 Somerville street in Shakopee.”
