He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Pieper and Phyllis Pieper (Molkenbur); his father-in-law Don Swart (Loraine Swart); and his brothers-in-law, Hank Theis, Darrell Conrady and Les Swart.
He is survived by: his wife Luanne Swart; his children, Jessica Geis (Joe), Joe Pieper (Lacey), Chad Pieper (Farah) and Katie Phillips (TJ); his grandchildren, Jailyn, Luke, Lance, Levi Geis-Axl, Paisley Pieper-Sierra, Logan, Austin Pieper, Boston and Cole Phillips; his siblings, Sherry Theis, Vern Pieper (Cindy), Bev Foth (Rick), Irene Theis (Mike), Jeff Pieper (Julie), Rose Watschke (Greg) and Pam Pieper-Berchem (Amy); and his mother-in-law Dorothy Swart.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be distributed in David's honor by his family.
