It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dee Dee Farrell of Shakopee, Minnesota, who passed away on April 20, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James McGovern and Rose McGovern (Bieren); her husband Allan; her siblings, Donna Draxten, Jess McGovern, Pat McGovern and John McGovern; her siblings-in-law, Jane Bennett, Diane Weierke, John Farrell and Janice Farrell; her parents-in-law, John and Betty Farrell; her niece Lynn; and her nephews, Scott, Russell, Joshua and Forest.
She is survived by: her children, Ally Thompson (David) and Shawn (Monica); her grandchildren, Keely Day (Cameron), Kyra Thompson and Jonathan Farrell; her great grandchildren, Magnolia and Everest; her sister Vonny Johnson; and her siblings-in-law, Kathy Schaffhausen and Jack Bennett. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great-nieces/nephews.
