He is survived by: his wife Amy of Shakopee, MN; his sister Dawn Voelker of Union, SC; his niece Sonya Brown (CJ) of Lake Wylie, SC; his stepchildren, Kenny Riihl of Mountain Lake, MN, Kristine Sanchez (Marco) of Farmington, MN and Paige Hamm (James) of St. James, MN; his grandchildren, Odie, Aurora and Luka; his cousins, Charee, Jane, Mary, Mim, Yorkie-Poo and Pepper Ann; Kristine and Marco.
When the covid pandemic occurred, he left his nursing job in 2021 and began his job at the Windom Community Center.
