He was predeceased by: his wife Rose; his parents, Peter and Theresa; his siblings, Irene Molkenbur (Harvey), Irvin Menden (Pearl), Clem Menden (Mabel), Helen Lenzmeier (Ralph), Norbert Menden and Lester Menden (Evelyn); and his sister-in-law Kathi VonBank.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Menden, Jerry Menden (Nellie), Jeff Menden (Lisa), Jean Breeggemann (Tony) and Joey Menden (Karla); his grandchildren, Chris Vourlos (Spiro), Kim Sobiech (Mike), Kyle Menden (Heather), Michael Menden, Molly Ware (Troy), Josh Breeggemann (Laura), Tara Breeggemann, Grant Menden (Angela) and Blake Menden (Mackenzie); his great grandchildren, Simon Sobiech, Levi Sobiech, Addie Sobiech, Steven Ware, Aly Ware, Jack Menden, Nora Menden and Hank Menden; and his brothers-in-law, Richard VonBank (Marcy) and Duane VonBank. He is also survived by nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
Memorials are preferred and distributed in his memory by the family.
