He was predeceased by: his parents, Helmer Lind and Amy Lind; his siblings, Donna Mae Hogberg (Lowell), Yvonne Ristau and Harley Lind; his children-in-law, Dean Olson and Kathy Lind; and his in-laws, Alfred and Clara Ranum.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Maggie" Ranum; his children, Cheri Sorum (Craig), Timothy Lind (Wendy) and Kristi (Karl Bohn); his grandchildren, Matthew Sorum (Sarah), Heidi Girod (Jeffrey), Tony Lind (Aimee), Jared Lind (Nora), Ryan Olson (Kasey), Ben Olson (Kiera) and Sarah Olson; and his great grandchildren, Aiden, Alexander, Stella Girod, Hailey, Anna Lind, Emily Sorum, Myla and Tessa Olson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen Lutheran Church (8400 France Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55431). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
