Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gretchen Kay Dertz of Shakopee, Minnesota, born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 55, on March 16, 2026. Though Gretchen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gretchen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert Frechette (Bob). She is survived by: her husband Ted; her pet Mother Jeanette Frechette (Jan); and her siblings, Gary Frechette (Jackie), Greg Frechette (Betsy), Glen Frechette and Gayle Peter (Todd). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
