He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Walsh and Emma Walsh (Katra); his sister Evelyn; his brother-in-law Donald Walters; and his in-laws, George, Margaret Novotny, Pat Novotny, Mary, William Van Ryn, James Novotny and Thomas Novotny.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Walsh; his son James "Jim" Walsh Jr. (Tabitha); his grandchildren, Tristan and Alexis (Jake Maruska); his daughter Margaret "Peggy" Walsh; his grandsons, Jacob and Randall; his daughter Katherine "Kate" Steinberg (Ricky); his granddaughter Kinsley; and his in-laws, Robert Novotny (Cherie), Linda Novotny and Judy Novotny. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home (1725 Lyndale Ave N, Faribault, MN 55021). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. Lawrence Cemetery (2830 2nd Ave NW, Faribault, MN 55021).
