With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeannette A. Stemmer of Shakopee, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 20, 2025 at the age of 72. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerhard Schmitt and Eleanor Schmitt (Jansen); her husband Peter Stemmer; her grandson Austin Stemmer; and her brother Gerhard F..

She is survived by: her children, Pam Theis (Jason) and Bryan (Dawn); and her siblings, Barb, Karen and Howard. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the McNearney-Schmidt Funeral and Cremation (1220 3rd Ave E, Shakopee, MN 55379). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
