She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Markuson and Elaine Markuson (Soldin); her sister Kathy Markuson; and her nephew Riki Kusuhara. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Alexander; her son Christopher Alexander (Rachel) of Manhattan Beach, California; her grandchildren, Jackson, Allison Alexander, Nicole LaChapelle of Chaska, Sydney and Leilani Wongdock; her sisters, Cheri Nehl (Jim) of Eden Prairie and Carolyn Kusuhara (Hiro) of Osaka, Japan; her nephew Matt Nehl; and her nieces, Michelle Nehl and Emily Kusuhara.
