Leon left this world on August 12, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman Luce and Louise Luce (Lenzmeier); his wife Arlene M. Theis; and his siblings, Eugene Luce (Mary), Elsie Kerber (Gib), Jim Luce (Joanne), Neil Luce and Audrey Kaiser.
He is survived by: his children, Brad Luce, Brenda Henning (Jerry), Bev Hergott (Mark), Brian Luce (Nancy), Bonnie Buesgens (Shane), Bennett Luce (Carolyn), Bart Luce (Kurt Zarth) and Becky Anderson (Shae); his grandchildren, Katie Tepfer (Ben), Mindy Longawa (Josh), Jillian Henning (Kris), Michael Henning (Sasha), Michelle Henning (Jeff), Kenzie Thomas (Jesse), Matthew Hergott (Molly), Jesse Buesgens (Cassie), Allison Merriam (Chad), Jordan Buesgens (Liz), Nicolas Luce, Samuel Luce (Maddie), Maxwell Luce, Bailey Scully (Reilly), Bria Luce, Brody Luce, Avery Anderson and Aven Anderson; his siblings, Mark Luce (Arlene), Louanne Krueger (Lyle) and Helene Schmitt (Steve); and his siblings-in-law, Benilee Luce and Clarence Kaiser. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear family friends.
