She was predeceased by: her husband Robert; her parents, George Schmitt and Mary Schmitt; her siblings, Ray, Carl, Lucille, Alice, Dorothy, Ethel, Lorraine, Virginia, Harriet, Nancy and Harold; and her grandson Sam Peterson.
She is survived by: her children, Maria Hopp (Larry), Ellen Kubes (Marjie Thieman), Jean Kubes-Werremeyer, Mark Kubes (Laurie), Joel Aronson (Thomas Kite) and Ann Swanson (Jim); her grandchildren, Ben Peterson (Christine Priggen), Ann Gaspich (Terry), Lee Peterson, Jedidiah Derhaag (Crystal), Dan Kubes, Mike Kubes, Gina Werremeyer, Nick Swanson (Maki) and Robert Hoffman; and her great grandchildren, Eve, Elise, Sam, Harrison, Caitlin, Kieren, Yukito and Madilyn.
