She is survived by: her children, Christina Larson-Dickson (Matt Dickson) and Eric Larson (Kirstin Larson); and her brother Lynn Skjoiten (Ann).
A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the McKenna Crossing (13810 Shepherds Path NW, Prior Lake, MN 55379). Since Alton passed during COVID, the Celebration of Life will be for both Mae and Alton at McKenna Crossing, 13810 Shepherds Path NW, in Prior Lake on Friday, October 16, from 2:30–4:30 p. m.
