He was predeceased by: his parents, John Garbe and Mildred Garbe (Peterson); his wife Cindy; and his brothers, Jack and Michael.
He is survived by: his children, Elaine Garbe, Theresa Carlson (Rex), Adam Garbe (Dawn), Rachel Garbe (Alan Wilson) and Eric Garbe (Catherine); his grandchildren, Lucas, Evan, Sloane, Gabriel, Micah, Liam, Addison, Ethan and Ian; his brother Ralph Garbe (Peggy); and his sister-in-law Donna Garbe.
