She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Lou Rivera and Ray Hernandez; her brother Ray Hernandez; and her parents-in-law, Helen Shepherd and Smiley Shepherd.
She is survived by: her extended family Sundancers; her husband Smiley Shepherd of Shakopee, MN.; her sons, Bill Shepherd of Albuquerque, NM, Albert Shepherd of Shakopee, MN, Steve Shepherd (LaShawn) of Bismarck, ND and Eric Shepherd (Jessica) of Sisseton, SD; her grandson Mason Shepherd of Shakopee, MN; her nephew Eddie Hernandez (Caroline) of Yorba Linda; her siblings, Robert Hernandez (Cathy) of Hemet and Sally Teran of Victorville; her nephew Robert Shepherd; and her niece Vicky Carriela Hernandez. She is also survived by Seventeen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and many nephews, nieces and friends.
