He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Larson and Ernest Larson; his son Rodney Johnson; and his siblings, Lillian Kalash (Dean), Mary Anderson (Curt), Arthur Larson (Carol) and Edward Larson.

He is survived by: his wife Lillian; his sons, Brent Larson (Jennifer) and Michael Johnson (Mary); his daughter-in-law Cathy van der Berg; his grandchildren, Jessica Harder (Brad), Kate Larson, Emma (Larson) and Haskell (Thomas); his siblings, Frances Seemann (Gay) and Duane Larson (Laurie); and his sister-in-law Janice Larson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the American Legion 3.
