He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert D. Helmers and Leanna D. Helmers (Simacek); his son Brian Helmers; and his siblings-in-law, Doug Johnson and Lola Helmers.
He is survived by: his fiancée Denise Hoffman; his siblings, Debra Johnson, Dennis Helmers (Connie), Michael Helmers (Sharon), Alan Helmers and Terry Helmers (Becky); and his fiancée's sons, Chad Ayers (Tammy) and Dustin Moffitt (Ashley). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Lake Belt Bar and Grill (103 E Main St, Ceylon, MN 56121).
