He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen Strey Horton and Donald Edwin Horton, Sr.; his children, DJ Horton (Celeste), Leigha Horton (Travis) of Finlayson, MN, Sara Horton (Nick) and Claire Horton; his granddaughter Katherine; his sisters, Janet Horton (Wally) of Tucson, AZ and Mary Sondag (Al) of San Clemente, CA; and his pet Frances Cabrini.
