Emily Buttaro Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2023, at the age of 90, Emily Buttaro of Shoreview, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Howe and Henrietta Howe (Wood); her husband Pete; and her brother James Howe. She is survived by: her children, Tina Buttaro (Robb Puffenberger) of Philadelphia, Pete Buttaro (Heather) of Columbus, NE and Rieta Mikkelsen (Chris) of St. Paul, MN; her grandchildren, Jazz, Riley, Mason, Jens and Ben; her great grandchildren, Zeb, Davey, Charlie and Vojta; and her sisters, Rieta Trepiccione and Edith Goodnight.
Family remembers Emily saving and sorting through a stack of organizations she wanted to donate to every year, and she always set aside St. Jude as one of her first priorities. With that in mind, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in Emily's name to St. Jude at https://raise.stjude.org.
