He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley B Reierson and Kathryn M. Barnacle (Thiede Reierson); his brother Steve Barnacle; his stepmother Gertrude Reierson-Ness; his stepbrother Jeff Port; and his nephew Jim Hanigan.
He is survived by: his children, Mitch Reierson (Carla) of Mabel, MN and Nancy Menke (Steve) of Jordan, MN; his siblings, Joan Hanigan (Dan) of Valencia, CA, Frank Reierson (Kenia) of Brooklyn Park, MN and Becky Svoboda (Dick) of Osseo, MN; his stepsiblings, Gary Port (Betty) of Bemidji, MN and Sharon McDowell; and his grandchildren, Miranda Darling-Grabowski, Olivia Menke and Jack Menke. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
There will be a memorial fund set up to get a marker, tree or bench dedicated in his honor at the MN Landscape Arboretum.
