John Schmidt Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Schmidt of Shoreview, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 86, on December 11, 2022. He was predeceased by: his former wife Darlene; his parents, Raymond and Gisella; and his brother Bob. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Laura Krueger (Fred), Julie Fredrickson, Jeanne Karschnia (Bob) and Steven Schmidt (Sheila); his stepson Peter Leyden (Chris); his sister Carol Steigauf (Jack); and his sister-in-law Jan Schmidt. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and good friends.

In lieu of flowers, Jack requested donations be made to Children's Minnesota.
