With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Ann DeMay of Shoreview, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Mary Ann farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mary Ann is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her husband Sam DeMay; her parents, Emil Carlson and Mayme Carlson; her sister Geraldine Appel; and her son John DeMay.

She is survived by: her sons, Jeff (Kelly) and Jim (Channing); her sister Janice Ramert; and her grandchildren, Danielle (Lucas), Amanda, Samantha, Claire and George. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
