She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Schwalen and Lucille Schwalen; and her sisters, Elizabeth Hanusa (Betty), Patricia Baxter (Pat), Dorothy Barker and Evelyn "Evy" A. Smrstick (John "Jack" Melberg).
She is survived by: her former husband Richard; her children, Terry, Anthony Roeder (Melanie) and Terrence Roeder (Charlene); her grandchildren, Christina, Samuel, Emma and Ellie; and her sisters, Mary Jane Duchnowski, Margaret "Peggy" Grede and Jo-Ellen Lemke.
In lieu of flowers the family would ask you to send memorials to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) to help speed up finding a cure for this dreadful disease.
