Virgil Joseph Sauve Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2025, at the age of 95, Virgil Joseph Sauve of Shoreview, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his children, David Sauve and Beatrice Sauve; his brother Raymond; and his parents, Isaac Sauve and Eva Sauve.
He is survived by: his wife Doriene Sauve (Moser); his children, Stephen (Mary), Rosemarie Wilke, Mary Callister (Curt) and Monica Sunsdahl (David); and his siblings, Noella Wiese, Melvin and Darel. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Odilia Catholic Church (3495 Victoria St N, Shoreview, MN 55126). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. John the Baptist Cemetery (835 2nd Ave NW, New Brighton, MN 55112).
