He was predeceased by: his parents, Eino Tuorila and Hazel Tuorila (Hotakainen); his parents-in-law, Carl and Violet Nelson; his siblings, Annette, Arlene, Marv, Mike and Ray; and his nephew Bob Kramar.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Nelson; his children, Cathy and Keith; his nieces, Deb, Denise (Frank) and Doreen; his grandchildren, Cody, Eric, Frankie John, Jenny, Josh, Justin, Laura, Neil, Timmy and Tommy; his siblings, Shirley, Carole Jean (Debbie), Charlie and Roger (Vicky); and his sisters-in-law, Pat and Nancy. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Sychar Lutheran Church, Silver Bay Blue Line Club, or the Silver Bay Fire Department.
