With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis W Sandmann of Silver Bay, Minnesota, who passed away on November 11, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hughes and Ruth Hughes (Scheid); her husband Galen Sandmann; her siblings, Mary, Lillian, Alice, John Jr., Helen and Erna; and her pet Winnie.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Sandmann (Marlene) of Elk River, Kathy Thompson (Terry) of Finland, Gene Sandmann (Shelly) of Tomahawk, WI, Brian Sandmann (Dawna) of Silver Bay and Mary Lou Sando (Vince) of Marble Lake; and her siblings, Chuck, Dave Hughes and June Stephens. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association 525 S Lake Ave, Duluth, MN 55802.
