He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dirkzwager and Margaret Dirkzwager; his wife Dorothy Dirkswager; his son Marshall Dirkswager; his stepsons, Sam and Stanley Heinecke; his grandchild Marty Michaelis; and his sister Lois Carlson.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Dirkswager (Karen Wilson) of Leon, IA, Marcia Dirkswager of Maple Lake and Marilyn Dirkswager (Mark Luedtke) of Monticello; his stepchildren, Rosemary Heinecke and Shirley Hickman; his grandchildren, Mark, Matthew Michaelis, Jeremiah, Jericho Erickson and Thomas Dirkswager; and his great grandchildren, Leo, Aaron, Jace, Allie, Sienna and Vanessa. He is also survived by many step grandchildren; many step great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
