He was predeceased by: his parents, Damis Knoll and Della Knoll (Loebertmann); his parents-in-law, Gilbert and Evelyn Lawrence; his brothers-in-law, Jim Lawrence and Ron Booth; and his daughter-in-law Dr. Meganne Stifter-Knoll.
He is survived by: his wife Susie Knoll; his children, Shaun Knoll, Kim Knoll (Jason Paulson) and Jesse Knoll (Brittney Fairlamb); his grandchildren, Dylan Knoll, Allison Knoll, Justin and Xander Field; his siblings, John Knoll (Celia), Helen Lorentz (Bruce), Mike Knoll and Ella Schmidt (Scott); and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Booth, Gordie Lawrence (Patty), Joannie Lawrence, Kathy Dvorak (Harvey) and Tom Lawrence. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Maresh Funeral Home (105 Main St W, Silver Lake, MN 55381). A rosary was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A prayer was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (700 Main St W, Silver Lake, MN 55381).
