He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Hemerick and Johanna "Jane" Hemerick (Blazinski); his daughter Nancy Hemerick; his siblings, Gordon Hemerick, Rose Ann Fiecke (Philip) and David Hemerick (Rose); and his in-laws, Jean Penas, Robert Shamla and LeRoy Penas.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Hemerick; his children, Mark Hemerick (Karina) of Hutchinson, Mary Bready (Thomas) of Bloomington and James Hemerick (Andreia) of Brooklyn Park; his grandchildren, Natalie Stevens (Trevor), Emily Bready, Marianna Hemerick, Caio Hemerick, Giovana Hemerick and Lucca Hemerick; and his in-laws, LaVerna Hemerick, Val Shamla, Judy Penas and Ron Penas. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
